Does 399Apps have warehouse management software?

Short answer

Yes. Nidhi Warehouse is 399Apps’ warehouse management app for distributors and wholesalers. It records which bin every item sits in, builds picklists that send pickers to the right bin, refuses a wrong item at the scan, runs cycle counts with an approval step and shows a daily warehouse dashboard. It is ₹399/month with unlimited users and runs on Nidhi Inventory.

Nidhi Inventory alone vs Inventory + Nidhi Warehouse

Inventory tells you how much you hold in each godown. Warehouse adds where it sits inside the godown.

Feature Inventory + Warehouse (₹798/month) Nidhi Inventory alone (₹399/month)
Stock view By bin inside each location; unbinned stock shown as "Unassigned" By location (godown, branch)
Finding stock for an order Picklist names the bin holding the most of each item, one line at a time in bin order Picker walks the racks to find it
Wrong item in a look-alike pack Refused at the scan with "That is X, not Y" Caught when the customer complains
Picked but not yet shipped Shown as reserved per bin so it is not sold twice; clears when the invoice is sent Not shown separately
Stock take Cycle counts by bin, item or location, with blind count and an approval step that writes the adjustment Manual stock adjustment
Slow-moving stock Dashboard list of items with nothing out in 90 days (window adjustable), with their bins Not on a daily dashboard

Pricing reflects publicly listed plans and is indicative; verify current pricing with each vendor.

What Nidhi Warehouse does

You set up aisles, racks, shelves and bins inside each location in Nidhi Inventory, then put received stock away into them. A put-away or bin-to-bin move is a matched out-and-in inside the same location, so your total on hand never changes; only a sent invoice takes stock out. You cannot move more out of a bin than it holds.

A sales order or invoice becomes a picklist. Each goods line suggests the bin holding the most of that item, and the picker sees one line at a time, in bin order, with unassigned stock last. Every pick is checked by scanning the item barcode or a unit’s serial or printed code; a wrong item, an over-pick or a unit held at another location is refused. A finished walk closes into a package (PKG-1, PKG-2…) that can be attached to a shipment, and a short pick packs short.

Cycle counts cover one bin, one item across all bins, or a whole location. Expected quantities are frozen when the count opens and can be hidden with a blind count. Approving writes the stock adjustment against the live balance, so a pick made mid-count is not undone. The morning dashboard shows inward and outward today, open picklists, empty bins, the five fullest bins, unassigned units and the slow-moving list.

Who it is for, and who should skip it

If you run a distributorship, stockist or wholesale godown where pickers lose time hunting for stock, where look-alike SKUs go out wrong, or where the shelf and the system only get reconciled at year-end, Nidhi Warehouse fits. It also suits importers holding bulk stock and manufacturers with a finished-goods store.

If your stock fits in one storeroom, Nidhi Inventory alone (₹399/month) is enough; do not pay for bins you will leave empty. If your question is which lot a carton came from and when it expires, that is Nidhi Traces, a separate ₹399 app with FEFO picking and a recall report. If you ship thousands of e-commerce orders a day, a dedicated WMS such as Unicommerce will fit better: Warehouse does not print courier labels, run wave or batch picking across many orders, or sync marketplace orders.

What it costs

Nidhi Warehouse is ₹399/month on the 399apps cloud with unlimited users and no cap on locations, bins or items. It reads the stock ledger that Nidhi Inventory records, so the pair is ₹399 + ₹399 = ₹798/month. Add Nidhi Traces for lot and expiry tracking at another ₹399. Self-hosted deployment is available on the same product. A 14-day free trial is available (no card required).

FAQ

More questions

I run a distributorship with 400 cartons of one item spread across three racks — can 399Apps tell my picker which rack to go to? +
Yes, with Nidhi Warehouse. Once stock is put away into bins, the item’s bin stock page lists every bin holding it and how much is in each. A picklist built from the order already names the bin holding the most of that item, so the picker walks straight there.
Our pickers keep sending the wrong item because two SKUs look the same on the shelf — will the warehouse app stop that? +
Yes. On each picklist line the picker scans the item barcode or a unit’s serial or printed code. If it is a different item, the pick is refused with a message naming both items. A quantity larger than the line still needs is refused too.
Do I need to buy Nidhi Inventory as well as Nidhi Warehouse? +
Yes. Warehouse reads the stock that Nidhi Inventory records, and your aisles, racks and bins are created in Inventory. Both are ₹399/month, so the pair is ₹798/month with unlimited users.
Can I do a stock take in the godown without my staff seeing the expected numbers? +
Yes. Tick "Blind count" when you open a cycle count and the expected quantity stays hidden until the count is approved. A blank box means not counted yet, so an empty bin has to be entered as 0 before it is written off.
I sell pharma and need expiry dates — is Nidhi Warehouse the right app? +
Not on its own. Warehouse tracks which bin goods sit in. Lot numbers, expiry dates, FEFO picking and recalls are Nidhi Traces, a separate ₹399 app. You can run either or both on top of Nidhi Inventory.
We ship a few thousand online orders a day — is Nidhi Warehouse enough? +
Probably not. It does not print courier labels, run wave or batch picking across many orders, or sync marketplace orders. A dedicated fulfilment WMS such as Unicommerce fits that volume better.
