Then you send them a festival greeting, an offer or a payment nudge over WhatsApp, SMS or email, with the next channel as a fallback if the first cannot reach them. Birthday, anniversary, first-purchase and win-back messages can run on their own. Consent is built in: a customer who replies STOP is added to a do-not-contact list that only they can leave, nobody gets more than one promotional message a week from you, and nothing goes out outside 9am to 9pm. Combine rules such as "owes more than ₹5,000", "has not bought in 3 months", "bought in the last 30 days", "top customers this financial year", state, price list or GST registration type. A rule audience is worked out again at send time, so it is never out of date.
