Our godown has hundreds of cartons across many racks — can the software tell a picker which rack an item is on? +
Not with the three-app kit alone: Nidhi Inventory knows how much you hold in each godown, not which bin it sits in. Add Nidhi Warehouse for that. You set up aisles, racks, shelves and bins inside each location, put received stock away into them, and a picklist built from a sales order or invoice sends the picker to the bin holding the most of each item. Every pick is checked with a barcode or unit scan, so a look-alike SKU is refused. The four apps come to ₹1,596/month with unlimited users (prices exclude GST). If your stock fits in one storeroom, skip it — the kit already covers you.
We import containers from China in USD and pay freight, customs duty and the clearing agent separately — can the kit show what each item really cost us in rupees? +
Not with the three-app kit alone: Nidhi Inventory values stock at what you paid the supplier. Add Nidhi Import Costing for that. You raise the purchase order in USD at a rate you record, track each container as a consignment with its bill of entry number, and book the freight, insurance, duty, port handling and clearing bills against it as they arrive. Each charge is split across the goods by value, quantity or volume, and re-split when a late bill comes in. The landed cost then flows into your stock valuation, and a goods-in-transit register shows what is still at sea. IGST paid at customs that you can claim as input credit is kept out of the goods' cost. It does not file your bill of entry or connect to ICEGATE — your customs broker still does that. The four apps come to ₹1,596/month with unlimited users (prices exclude GST). If you buy only from Indian suppliers, skip it.
Is this a good cloud alternative to Busy or Marg for distribution? +
For most small distributors, yes — it is cloud-native with unlimited users from ₹399/month and nothing to install per PC. Very batch/expiry-heavy pharma distribution may still prefer a specialist tool.
