Nidhi Staff is the people side of a small business — who worked, what they are owed and what you actually paid. Keep a register of your team with each person's wage basis (monthly, daily or hourly) and rate, mark attendance for a whole site and day in a single save, and run wages for a period with overtime, bonuses, advances and deductions on each line. Finalise the run and it freezes, so a period you have already paid cannot quietly change underneath you. Every wage payment posts into your books as a salaries-and-wages expense, and payslips come out of the same run. Nidhi Staff is deliberately not statutory payroll — there is no PF, ESI or salary-TDS filing. Available on the 399apps cloud or self-hosted.

Is Nidhi Staff payroll software? +

No, and we would rather say so plainly. Nidhi Staff handles attendance, what each person is owed for a period, and posting those wages into your books. It does not do statutory payroll — there is no PF, ESI or salary-TDS calculation or filing. If you need statutory compliance, keep doing that wherever you do it today.

How does attendance work? +

You pick a site and a day and mark the whole team in one screen, then save once. It is built for a shop or a site where one person marks everybody, not for each employee logging their own hours.

Can I pay different people different ways? +

Yes. Each person carries their own wage basis — monthly, daily or hourly — with their own rate, and a single wage run handles a mix of all three.

Can a paid period be edited later? +

No. Once you finalise a wage run the period freezes and its lines cannot be changed. That is deliberate — a wage you have already paid should not move after the fact.

Do wages show up in my accounts? +

Yes. Wage payments and advances post into Nidhi Books as a salaries-and-wages expense automatically, so your P&L already reflects labour cost without a month-end journal entry.

What does Staff cost? +
